Starting with the dreamy poster design by Landis Expandis, I designed the schedule of performances happening across 5 stages. Bonus! I also built rainproofed a mount for the outdoor sign.
Bedlam Brass Horn-Heads Show Poster
For this brass band bonanza show poster I found a great sewing pattern from the 1970s and and mashed it up with some horns. When I booked the bands for the show I was very intentional about choosing bands that had multiple female members, and this poster takes it that meaning to another level.
Patrick McMinn Tape
there was a time when the world was suffused with light
The song names run together to form a long title for this album, so I created a design in which the text is a graphic element—mostly obscured, like many themes in the music itself. Patrick created the background graphic using generative video software, which served us well across multiple layouts.
I created the tape cover, digital art, show poster, Bandcamp art, and projection art to match the show poster.
Cora Sone Tape (Self-Titled)
The x-ray images are of the lead singer Abby Becker’s hand and her cat Luisa’s paw following an unfortunate incident involving a window and some broken bones.
I designed digital album art and print art for cassette tape. I also created the album release poster and social media images using the same visual identity. For the release poster, we decided to go with a full-bleed square design so that the band would have a special design they would feel comfortable selling to fans to remember the show.
Bedlam Brass Cotillion Show
For Bedlam Brass’ first show I wanted to create a design that evoked old-fashioned cotillion imagery, but a little sideways. I designed the band logo, poster, club sheet, Facebook banner, and several reminder images.
The GlueGunheim: BROS at Artscape, 2017
I designed the visual identity for this exhibition of props and artwork from Baltimore Rock Opera Society productions at Artscape, 2016. I designed, printed, and mounted all the artwork labels, including an audio tour label design, group labels for the window display, and a handbill will instructions for the audio tour and to purchase the items. I also created the title wall design, which was mounted in vinyl letters. I helped create the audio tour and built a small webpage for accessing it: http://baltimorerockopera.org/artscape/
